Woosung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. is an investment project of Woosung Molding & Plastics Company headquartered in Bucheon, Korea. In December 2015, Woosung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd officially received the Certificate of Investment Registration and commenced the construction in January 2016 with a total investment of US 34 million on the land area of 30,000 m2 at Lot K2, Trang Due Industrial Zone, Hong Phong Commune, An Duong District, Hai Phong.
By the assistance from the parent company in terms of technology as well as the strength of electronic components manufacturing for mobile phones and motors, the company has started operations from July 2016 with the production target reached 36 million units.
